Operator disclosure
Speedpaint (speedpaint.org) is an independent software project operated by Parv Shah, an individual developer based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. In these Terms, references to "Developer", "Operator", "Speedpaint", "we", "us", or "our" refer to Parv Shah.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing our website (speedpaint.org), creating an account, generating videos, or purchasing generation credits, you agree to these Terms of Service.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") incorporate our Privacy policy, our Refund and cancellation policy, and our Shipping and delivery policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Speedpaint.
2. Description of software and services
Speedpaint is an animation and computational drawing engine. The software analyzes user-submitted photographs and digital artwork, extracts vector stroke paths through edge detection, skeletonization, and artist trajectory planning, and renders whiteboard and pencil sketch drawing animation videos in MP4 format.
All computations and rendering operations are executed on cloud compute servers. All outputs are delivered electronically to your account dashboard and creations library.
3. Account registration, age eligibility, and security
To use the creation studio and render animations, you must register for a Speedpaint account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information (including a valid email address).
- Maintain the confidentiality of your authentication credentials and session tokens.
- Promptly report any suspected security breach or unauthorized access via our Support center.
- Be at least 18 years old to purchase credits. If you are under 18 years of age, you may access the service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
4. Intellectual property and creator content rights
Creator content rights and commercial usage
You retain all ownership rights to the original photographs, illustrations, and source artwork you submit to Speedpaint. As between you and Speedpaint, we do not claim copyright or proprietary title over your source media or the resulting drawing animation videos generated from your media.
Speedpaint grants you a worldwide, royalty-free commercial license to publish, broadcast, monetize, distribute, and commercially utilize the animation videos generated through your account across online platforms, commercial projects, educational material, and broadcasts, subject to your compliance with these Terms and your rights in the underlying source content.
All website software, user interface components, algorithms, backend rendering code, trademarks, logos, and platform infrastructure remain the exclusive intellectual property of Parv Shah.
5. Processing of user assets
We respect creative privacy. Your uploaded photos, extracted stroke vectors, and rendered animation files are processed solely to deliver your requested drawing animation video and maintain your library. Speedpaint does not sell, rent, or use your submitted creative assets to train proprietary public generative AI foundation models.
6. Generation credits, pricing, and payment terms
Speedpaint operates on a pay-as-you-go credit pack model to cover cloud computing and GPU rendering costs:
- One-time credit packs: Purchases (Starter $5.00, Creator $10.00, Pro $25.00, Studio $50.00, or Custom packs from $1.00 USD) are one-time transactions. Credits remain available until used, subject to the terms below.
- Credit lifespan: Purchased credits remain available in your account as long as your account remains active and in good standing.
- Payment processing: All payments are processed through our certified payment partner, Razorpay (Razorpay Software Private Limited), compliant with RBI guidelines and PCI-DSS standards. We do not store or process your credit card numbers, CVVs, or NetBanking credentials on our servers.
- Digital fulfillment: Generation credits are added to your account balance after the payment is successfully captured and verified.
7. Failed render automatic credit restoration
Credits are held when a drawing animation job is admitted. The hold becomes a charge only when the video renders and saves successfully. If a worker crashes, a server timeout occurs, or the video cannot be completed, the full hold is automatically restored to your balance without requiring manual support intervention.
8. Refund and cancellation policy
Refunds are governed by our dedicated Refund and cancellation policy. We provide a voluntary 24-hour refund policy for fully unused credit packs. Once a completed video has been created after purchase, the pack is treated as used. Approved refunds are credited directly back to the original payment source via Razorpay within 5 to 7 business working days, preserving all applicable statutory consumer rights.
9. Acceptable use and prohibited activities
In accordance with Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you agree not to host, upload, modify, or transmit any content that:
- Belongs to another person without authorization or infringes upon any patent, trademark, copyright, or proprietary right.
- Contains Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), non-consensual intimate depictions, pedophilic material, or severely defamatory content.

Any account found violating these standards is subject to immediate suspension or permanent termination without credit refund, and may be reported to law enforcement authorities.
10. Third-party integrations and YouTube API services
Speedpaint provides an optional publishing integration with YouTube API Services. By connecting your Google/YouTube account to publish shorts, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You may revoke this authorization at any time via the Google Security Settings.
11. Artificial intelligence disclaimer and third-party AI terms
Speedpaint employs computational algorithms, vector path planning, and artificial intelligence vision models to transform user-submitted imagery into drawing animations.
A. Third-party AI model routing
To generate diverse artistic sketch styles, Speedpaint may route sketchification requests through third-party AI inference providers, including OpenRouter (openrouter.ai), which connect with upstream vision models.
B. Third-party AI terms
When utilizing AI-assisted sketch styles, processing is subject to the terms and privacy practices of the routing providers and underlying model providers:
C. Synthetic content and transparency disclosure
In alignment with international transparency standards including Article 50 of the European Union Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act):
- Speedpaint drawing animation videos and sketch outputs are synthetic artistic simulations generated through computational trajectory algorithms and vision models.
- The drawing hand, pencil stroke animations, and sketch contours are synthetic computer-generated visual representations.
- Users deploying or publishing Speedpaint videos publicly are encouraged to maintain truthful disclosure regarding the synthetic nature of the drawing animation where required by regional laws.
D. Prohibited AI generation and safety compliance
Users are strictly prohibited from submitting images or prompting the AI pipeline to generate: (i) Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or non-consensual sexual content; (ii) deceptive deepfakes intended to defraud, harass, or defame individuals; (iii) hate speech, terrorist recruitment, or depictions of extreme physical violence; or (iv) content that violates applicable intellectual property or privacy laws.
