Keeping Drawing Videos Private and Sharing Them

Keep creation and publication separate

A drawing video can stay in your account while you review it. New and reset Studio defaults do not enable automatic publishing. Existing accounts can have their own saved choices, so inspect your publishing settings instead of assuming every account is configured the same way.

Uploading an image is not an instruction to place it in the public gallery. Review privacy when you create a video and again when you share it.

A public link is a publication decision

Library and result actions let you change visibility and share a creation. A public share page is designed to be accessible to people with its link. Public pages may also be found or indexed; they are not a confidential delivery mechanism.

Explore listing is a separate discovery choice for public creations. Keeping a video out of Explore is not the same as keeping it private. Check both controls before sharing work intended for a limited audience.

Check automatic publishing deliberately

Studio defaults can save your preferences for later creations. If you opt into automatic publishing, that saved choice can affect later work. Turn it off when preparing private client drafts, classroom material or personal photographs.

Change account settings explicitly and choose Save. Saving defaults is different from publishing a particular existing video.

Removing access has limits

You can make an owned creation private again through the available visibility controls. That does not recall files somebody already downloaded, remove screenshots or instantly erase search-engine caches. Share only content you are comfortable making public.

Use the source image with permission, and review whether it contains personal information. A public drawing treatment can still identify the subject. For a sensitive delivery, keep the creation private and use a suitable separate delivery process rather than assuming a public URL is secret.
